We promote exercise and challenges in a fun and encouraging environment for school aged children.

School-based coaching

We provide professional table tennis coaching to children, in their schools, after school hours as an extra-curricular activity, in several age groups.

Tournaments

Inter-school tournaments and other special events are held regularly for participating schools, such as fundraising events and the annual Ormai Cup.

Training camps

Training camps are held in school holidays at various locations.

About

  • 1957 - 1959

    The Humble Beginnings

    Dr. Laszlo Ormai begins to coach his first team and leads them to win a series of national and international championships within two years.

  • In the 1960s

    A Legend is Born

    His team, Statisztika, becomes one of the most successful teams in the world of all time. His team is undefeated for 40 consecutive years in the country and they won numerous gold, silver and bronze medals on European and World Cups.

  • 1980s-2000s

    The Ormai Method

    Dr. Ormai's special coaching method becomes acknowledged across Europe as best practice, he publishes an overarching book about his vision, mission and famous technique in coaching table tennis. He also receives a prestigious state award for his achievements in youth coaching.

    Arriving to Australia

    We bring Dr. Ormai's vision, enthusiasm and technique to Australia's school to lead our children to success!
